NHS Database Summary
The NHS has been undergoing seemingly permanent structural reform since June 2006 and the formation of the Strategic Health Authorities. It has been our job to reflect this fluidity in our data base and we have succeeded in mapping all of the complex reporting structures both with people and at an organisational level.
To this end, we hold the most complete data set of NHS decision makers anywhere available. In addition, we are now preparing for the migration of commissioning from the PCT's to the newly created GP consortiums, for which we hold the pathfinder organisations, soon to be renamed as Clinical Commissioning Groups.
